Post Wii 480p HD Capable?
I have an NTSC Wii and I was wondering if I should be running the video at 480p HD.. When I hit info on my remote it says i'm running ALL my games at 480i SD... Maybe I don't have the cable for it ? Wikipedia tells me that the NTSC/Pal = 480p, NTSC = 480i so I don't know it's conflicting information..

Any help would be appreciated, thanks everyone.

Edit: I'm using Component cables.

do you have it set to 480p in the Wii settings?

I've seen that and i'm 110% sure that i've set it on HD..btw, i also have a wasabi chip.

well i know that they have wii hd cables but i read somewhere that they dont work but I'm not sure i would totally belive that.
here are some that are fairly cheap and got good reviews: [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] I think i might get some

I got these from Amazon for $6 shipped, got them in 4 days and they work great!

for your refernance 480p isnt HD its no where near HD, its just a bit better version of standard tv resolution
