    DS/Wii connectivity on the way

    http://www.mcvuk.com/DSWii-connectivity-on-the-way

article talking about the connectivity of DS with the wii. expected next year. ds to act as a controller......

"Pokemon Battle Revolution includes features that lets players use DS handhelds as Wii controllers."

    and even better news....

"While Nintendo's competitors are focusing on the multimedia aspect such as streaming video and other media, Nintendo will concentrate more on "offering new forms of gameplay, fun and interaction."

    very vague but sounds great.

If they aren't going to push graphics and the idea of a home entertainment center they have to "offer new forms of gameplay". I am glad nintendo used this strategy instead of pushing the limits of technology....While they are a powerhouse in the videogame industry they don't have the muscle of microsoft and sony.

That's great news. I was hoping for something like this to happen. If they incorporate downloadable DS demos that would be sweet.
