Multiple Playing Partitions HELLLLP !

WD 2tb 2 partitions running v3.4u

Trying to use 2 partitions with games on each:

I can run partition 1 flawlessly with 500 games... i have others on partition 2 and have tried numerously to get them brought up but no luck. I have tried changing each of the prts to active and always only sees the first prt. I have seen many threads on multiple partitions for other use but not as wbfs.
I have also seen threads of only 500gb being used, which isnt the case for me. I can access and transer to both prt via WBFS man and part in both windows and EASEUS. I am using 500 games and 931gb on prt 1 and a handful on prt 2. If anyone has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated. thnx in advance

Only one WBFS partition can be seen by USB Loaders.

well... while i know it can be done because i have seen and USED IT, i will post the technique when i figure it out. just cant remember how it was setup to do so.

I was trying to use two partitions as well and I saw in another post that you were successfully able to do it using USB loader GX.

That is the program I use but I have not been able to access the 2nd partition. Both are WBFS.

I was able to switch over to the 2nd partition in Configurable USB loader but I do not like that one and the kids know how to use USB loader GX.

So, my question is, which version of USB loader GX are you using and what did you have to do for it to recognize the 2nd partition?

Cfg USB loader is the best for the job, there's only 2 that support that function anyway:

As for using USB Loader, well you technically can, but you have to switch the active partition round each time you want to use the other partition.

ofc the other way is to have 2 separate loaders, one that the kids use with their games (USB loader pointing to the active partition which has to have the kids games on) and Cfg USB loader for you & the games you prefer pointing to the second non-active partition.

Ah yes, that would be a good way to go. It is the kids that I am more worried about. I guess I will have to do a little more research on using the cfg USB loader.

Of course just having one FAT32 partition only would be the best way to go anyway as per your other posts that I have seen on other threads.

Would you happen to know a good way to merge two WBFS partitions without losing the files from the first one? I think I am screwed with that one.

If you are planning on having more than 500 games, then you still need 2 partitions, no way round that - yet, until they tweak the loaders to go beyond that we are stuck with it.

As for merging, as I've asked around, no - there isn't, bummer, sorry.

Merger partitioning software is Windows OS reliant, (Or MACOSX reliant) and as WBFS is NOT seen by windows, or Macs, then we are stumped.

The only way round it is to start over, and that for some is not an option, just no space to do that.

Now, FAT32 allows us to drag and drop the ISO's into the windows since it is a recognized format.

I take it that I would not be able to open an FAT32 format drive in WBFS manager and transfers games between a WBFS drive and a FAT32 drive would I? I would only be able to go between windows OS recognized formats?

Is there another program that works like WBFS manager but is for FAT32 that would shrink the ISO's down (scrubbed)? I really do not want a 4+ GB wii sports game.

Yes, it's as simple as that, and as a bonus, you can even backup the data to DVDRs as data - using NERO writing from the data on the FAT32 drive direct to DVDRs, therefore getting 200-400 games in scrubbed format on a single packet of 100 DVDRs that cost £14/$20, much cheaper than HDD space - do the maths at costs per GB. Saves havingto download all the games again as well.

i apologize that i havent replied to my own thread, however you can load as many games as u want on a hdd formatted fat32 with a wbfs folder inside of it. u can use wii backup manager to load the games and use usbgx loader NOT WIIFLOW to access the games. all works perefectly. USE 904.DOL for no problems
