    Transferring Mii's

Since I haven't played around with a Wii yet, I wanted to know if its possible to transfer your Mii image to your computer. It would be pretty cool to display people's Mii characters on this site and possibly trade them? Anyone have any insight on this?

    Unfortunately I don't think that's possible.

If you want though, you could re-create your Mii using this:

It never ceases to amaze me how people get inspired and create tools like that! Long live the internet for the sole reason that you WILL find someone who is fanatical (with the emphasis on "fan") enough to recreate something that previously did not exist for no particular reason but to say "now you can do it".

Doubt it. I hear the Miis are stores on the Wiimote's memory. This means (unless Nintendo officially lets you transfer Miis in a future firmware update) that the Wii will need to be hacked by some third party.

I'm pretty good at flash, maybe I should make something like that. Well, some neat tool like something from the Wii. Gimme some ideas?

Ok, well I see you can't do that for now.. how about just taking a picture of your mii character on your TV?

If you want to do it.. go for it, we'll post it up.

It is not possible at this point in time, but a few buddies of mine on the DCEMU forums are working on a USB interface for the Wiimote since the Wiimote can actively store Mii's from what I understand about it so far. I don't have a Wii yet so I wish I could examine the system up close so i can only offer second hand information at this point. The onboard communication capabilities of the remote looks much more promising at this stage than a hack of the SD card slot system so I would expect most modders to do a straight USB or Firewire hack on the Wiimote.

That's too bad. Although seeing how people have hacked the psp I don't doubt anything isn't possible.....the only question is ...is it legal?
