wii upgrade to play punch ou

I am new to this stuff but i am running 3.3u and when i try to play punch out it tells me i have to upgrade? I usually run my games through wiigator. I was wondering if there is anyway to play punch out with out upgrading and losing my wii gator option to play the burnt games?

hey i just got punch out I have 4.1 system and I'm using neo gamma and it never asked me to up date..mybe it's your backup luncher? nto sure hope someone can help you.

Not sure how wiigator works but for the most if you have the right iso you shouldn't have to update. I had that problem with dead space. look at this list it might help [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register].

all wii games use a 3.4 system to play. I think you just need ios36 or 38, which ever animal crossing needs. If that doesnt work get the one used for brawl. I havn't had a game ask me to update since brawl.

not all games use 3.4.

The system menu is irrelevant. If it ask for an update then you are missing or have some outdated IOS's.

Check the list posted above for which IOS a game uses and for instructions on how to find out which IOS.

You should get a copy of neogamma r7 and CIOS38 rev14, neogamma will block updates.

You should NEVER update a softmodded wii from a disc.

use Gecko v1.9 it will install the usefull things nessisary to play the game automatically. i used it for punch out on a 3.2U system with no problem
