unable to access internet

can anybody help me out when i installed homebrew i had an option to disable internet access to the internet i now need to access the internet and i`m not sure how to access the internet

presuming you have a wireless router and its already configured for wireless access

goto

1) WII OPTIONS

2) WII SETTINGS

3) PLUS BUTTON (to get onto the next screen)

4) INTERNET

5) CONNECTION SETTINGS

6) CONNECTION 1

Access to the internet can be enabled and it should for homebrew. What should be turned off is your wiiconnect24. If you haven't setup your net yet:

1) Go To Wii Options (Button on the corner of screen)

2) Then select Wii Settings

3) Then go to the next screen by pressing +

4) Select Internet

5) Then Connection Settings

6) Select Connection 1

7) Setup your internet

8)Keep Wiiconnect24 off

i`ve tried to set up an internet connection on the wii but i`m unable to find my wireless router even when i`ve turned the security off

i`ve got a belkin enhanced wireless router but i don`t think that it`s the router i think it` s the because when the homebrew channel was installed there was an option which sais something like don`t allow the wii access to the internet

I've got a Netgear wireless router, the wii picks it up no problem.
