sensor bar

Well the stock sensor bar sucks in my house with my room that it is in. So i went and got a wireless it was the white one i think it is made by nintendo. Anyway it takes 4 aa's, and it ate a package of 8 in one weekend. To expensive so the stock one is back up. My ? is can the wire from the stock sensor be wired into the wireless one to power it or a Radio Shack adapter? Iv searched around and all i find is making wireless, i dont want wireless that cost money to power it. Any suggestions?

That is always an option but last time i bought them i spent like 10-15 on the batteries then another 15-20 on a charger. So at the moment im gonna try and see if there is a way to do this with the wii power first then if all fails il do that.

Sams club or walmart $20 for charger and batteries and they're the high powered batteries made for most power hogging devices.

Which one did you buy? Cause the reason for my purchase was to gain distance in the front room. The one i have that is wireless has a switch to change from standard to wide, and has 4 leds instead of 2. It is great cause sitting on my couch with stock the wii hand is all jittery, and with the power hog i bought it moves crisp.

Did you adjust the sensitivity and placement in the settings menu ? My couch is approx. 4m from my tv and when first setup my daughter had a lot of trouble trying to select things.
