    Not much point as you'd be limtied by USB2 speeds. Even 2.5 inch drives are limited by USB2 speeds.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    but wouldn't it be faster to load(extract) games faster to and from via wfbs with enhanced read and write speeds with the PC(sataII) don't know really if it worth the price point though???

    You'd have to connect the hard drive directly via e-sata or something. Still it'd be restricted when it's playing, which is where it's important.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
