Is it true that the internet channel will screw up your wii? I hear rumors about a hidden update, but nobody has actually said so.
Anyone know about this? Give me your suggestion k

No it won't screw up your Wii. I jokingly thought to myself the same thing the day of this updated Internet Channel release. That it would be funny if Nintendo were slick enough to hide a firmware update in it, but there was no reason to be that paranoid. It's just a Channel update. I uninstalled my unofficial Internet Channel wad and downloaded it. I can confirm that its safe and it's official.

Nintendo' most inspired core game titles are stuck overseas. Nintendo Of America sux when it comes to the localization of these game titles as they court with their new found casual gamer/soccer mom audience this console generation. Thus indirectly promoting the growth of Homebrewing & basically telling their core audience if they want it, mod chip or Homebrew it. Thanks Nintendo! My Wii and its functionalities have never felt more complete than when I took my first sip of the Brew. - Brewaholic

I have installed new Internet channel on the SD card after applying Homebrew channel and region free patches.

Now Wii freezes when I try to switch to SD card channels.

Does anybody knows how this issue could be solved?

Was it freezing before? If you used Bannerbomb to install Homebrew Channel erase the bannerbomb file or the Private folder that was created by Bannerbomb, but make sure to get your installed channel out if it installed to that folder as well.

    No Bannerbomb was used.
I used that http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...y-wii-210.html post to install Homebrew channel. Originally I have connected SD card to Wii in order be able to install region free patch as described in the post above. So I do not know if it was freezing brefore.

Is it possible I see some interference between Internet channel and Homebrew one or between Internet channel and Preloader?

By the way, is that enough to download Internet channel or I should run some sort of installation as well?
