What kind of DVDs are you using or have you ever dropped your wii?

Well if you'd dropped it then that would probably explain the problem but I'm not sure what it could be or it might need repairs.

That's just the lens reading and loading game data. For some games it may be more noticeable. Particularly games that may contain a lot of in game spoken dialogue etc. like Call Of Duty:WAW. Just keep your laser lens clean and burn your games slowly and try to keep your burnt games scratch and contaminant free. Good quality recording media also helps. Those steps will keep your from having to work too hard when reading burnt disc.

Nintendo' most inspired core game titles are stuck overseas. Nintendo Of America sux when it comes to the localization of these game titles as they court with their new found casual gamer/soccer mom audience this console generation. Thus indirectly promoting the growth of Homebrewing & basically telling their core audience if they want it, mod chip or Homebrew it. Thanks Nintendo! My Wii and its functionalities have never felt more complete than when I took my first sip of the Brew. - Brewaholic
