I just got my wii chipped with a wasabi dx chip, ive downloaded games, burnt them to disk, i get the image in the disk screen then the screen just goes blank and my wii remote switches off.
an i doing something wrong, the chip was set to pal as it was installed.

What firmware are you running on? If you have the update blocker on the game could be needing an IOS that the chip is not letting you install. Also what games are you trying?

Well, I know usually mod chips can update safely using the official Update because i Know tiger woods 10 needs the 3.4 update and i meant the firmware of your wii. You can check in the wii Settings.

that explains a couple of things like Tiger Woods 2010 not working since it requires a newer update, you should be able to update using the button in the wii settings but you should ask the people who sold it to you but modchip usually should be able to do a normal update.
