there's no need to pretend i buy the games if i like them. i never buy games. that's exactly why i got my system modded. i've got over 130 games and didin't pay for a single one. the legit games i got with my system i sold the next day.

i download music too...and no i don't buy cd's either. where the hell would i even play one? do they still make cd players? lol

to be honest, it's no so much that i'm cheap as that i'm just economical. i blow money on stuff all the time that isn't really something i need, but i don't pay for something i can easily access for free or for much cheaper...it just doesn't make sense to me.

yes, I pirate... why? cause I couldent afford to buy it.
Actually my wii i'snt chipped right now, and I got over 10 legit games. But eventually I will chip my system. Why? Because I would like to buy all the games, but thats WAY too much money. So after having the system for a couple years I usually chip them.
Ive already spent over $1500 on the wii, games, and accessories.
Seriously... they should be happy they got that!

Ive never bought a CD in my LIFE! CDs are GARBAGE. buy it cause its got 1 or 2 good songs on in? F*ck No!, d/l mp3s and make your own cd.

I know this all sounds bad...
But If I had the money... Id probably pay for it all...
    But i am BROKE.
I made maybe $15000 last year!
how can you expect to entertain yourself on that budget. I have a hard time just feeding my self and keeping a roof over my head.

My motto also. Bought software for years and was always a crapshoot if it was any good and 8 out of 10 were crummy. Also the scratch issue is a big thing with grandkids(9). My favorite games are links crossbow training and the wii sports. Both are reasonably priced and one comes with a zapper! If they reduced the cost of some of those "crummy" games, I would contribute to their cause by buying them too. BUT they dont because they target teens and not older fellas like me.
Hows that for an excuse for stealing?

I did it for the obvious reason....Who wants to spend $50 on a Wii game or $65 on a 360 game when I can just buy a pack of blank discs and get all my games for free....It's a no-brainer

    10 Wii Games = $500
    + Chip = $10
I only buy the games I really want i.e. SSBB.
    I'd say I'd buy the good ones I d/l i.e. NMH, but don't (and won't).
    Everybody pirates music.
    pirate music = pirate games
    Everyone is a pirate.

I guess for my self, its what I use it for. My 360 and PS3, I buy all my games for b/c I play them all the time, the wii is a party system and I only play when I have friends around or family around so I would not spend the money on games I will only play one or 2 times.

Now the big thing I think of is who gets the money when you buy a game? When its a new game, money does go to the developers, but now a days people by games used all the time (ebay, kijiji, ebgames, gamestop......) who gets the money at this point? the people selling the games! So to the developers its just like stealing the games, they don't see any money from it at all. That is why they are trying to fight and get rid of the game stores selling used games. So I guess in a way I only buy used, so "backing" up a game is the same, the developers lose!
    my systems:
    xbox360, PS3, Wii (d2ckey), PSP (m33), ds lite
