Which easy to pick up and play games can you recommend please?
Hello
I'm looking for games that are easy to pick and play?
Things will Will Sports resort are perfect, but looking for more. There seems to be 1001 games like this, but of course, some bad and some good, so your recommendations would be much appreciated so I don't end up with lemons.
Also be interested in shootings games where I can make use of my gun attachments.

I love House of The dead: overkill (its just like the arcades) and rayman raving rabbids (party with mini games)

If you're looking for Shooting try The Conduit or Call of Duty 5
I personally liked Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and Tales of Symphonia Dawn of a New World but im probably in a different age group.
Thanks guys. I'll give rayman raving rabbids a try, that’s the sort of games I'm after.
Things like Call of Duty would be far to hard. When I say 'pick up and play', I'm of course referring to games with very easy controls; something where the user can have a quick read of the instructions on screen and then play away. This is so family and friends, most of whom do not really play consoles, can simply pick up and play.
I'm a veteran gamer and have heard of all the games you mentioned as they are fairly main stream. But as I don't play the Wii that much I don't have a great knowledge of the games, however there seems to be a 1001 party/family games and I'm looking for the ones that are good that I would not of necessary of heard of. After ones that make full use of the Wii remote (ie not old school classics).

Well i'd agree with trekster on Super Paper Mario if you're looking for games to play with family, Wii Sports Resort if you can get your hands on a WM+. I've played wii sports with my sister and parents many times.
