Well she was finally able to get it yesterday. We had been looking for one for a while now. They have been all sold out in Toronto. Now I just have to wait till next friday to play.

Yesterday my brother in law brought his over and we all played, man what fun. Wii sports is amazing, it reminds me of the original NES with the running pad and some sports game I can't remeber the name of. Bringing back some good memories.

He had brought it over on xmas also, and we had my 78 year old granparents who have never played a console before bowling against each other. Nintendo really hit the mark on thier goal of having a console that reached the masses. Obviosly my GP's would ever buy the system but I am sure they will be playing it the next time they come over.

My only worry with the Wii is that it doesn't end up like the Gamecube with huge dry spells between good games. GC had some amazing games but there really wasn't too much to play while you waited for the next big game, but based on the way its selling and the rumored price of dev kits I don't see why any 3rd party would not want to make games for it.

Also, after playing Wii tennis I am dieing to get a real tennis game with tournements. Topspin for the XBox was great, but for the Wii will be amazing

It would be awesome if a game like Virtua Tennis was released.
