Smile How to Easily turn your iso's into a Channel.

Ok, i am working to make this tutorial as Noob Friendly as possible. This will be done in steps.

Step 1. Download Yaulct 1.2 from my website: [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]

Step 2. Scroll down and below it you will see Download. Click it.

Step 3. Extract the File, and put all the files into a folder on the desktop called Yaulct 1.2.

    Step 4. Run Yaulct.exe

Step 5. Select your .iso. If it is from a WBFS partitioned hard drive, plug that in and select: WBFS Mode

Step 6. Name your .wad to its game name. Choose the path where you want to save the .wad. I preffer selecting desktop. CLICK GO!

Step 7. Click and Drag the .wad Into You wad folder on your SD card

Step 8. Take out the SD card and put it in your wii. Boot it up.

Step 9. Go to the homebrew channel and run WAD Manager

Step 10. Select SD card as your device, select you ios (mine is 249 newest) Press a for licence agreement, and click on The File. It will Install.

LOL, it doesnt create a complete game channel, it creates a channel that is linked to your HDD, the game is on your HDD and it is accessed by a channel on your wii menu without the need to go into a usb loader and find it.

I have a few that I made and they are quite handy especially with a non technical wife around.

It also uses very little of your wii memory because it is basicly only making a header into the game, the ones I have are only taking up about 7 or 8 blocks each.

The Wii contains 512 MiB of NAND flash storage, which is used to store "system software", channels (including Virtual Console titles), game saves, and system settings.

512MB is not alot of memory, I had to delete some game saves the other day to make room for more game saves.

i know, i often have to remove save games, they can really build up on your system if you play a lot of games

some have as many as 15 blocks for one game, although most are only 1 or 2 blocks

I think that Wii Music was 29 blocks, that one went first since it didn't get played very much, but true about 1 or 2 blocks for most games.
