is your hdd partitioned?
As a side note sd cards are getting cheaper every day. I just saw an 8 gig for $10.
is your hdd partitioned?
You need a partition you can then change where usb loader looks for the covers so instead of sd/covers it would be usb\covers.
Without the partition you wont be able to create the new folder though.
I got rid of GX for neogamma. I spent all my spare time looking for covers.
If i had a game with no cover it would drive me up the wall. Now i dont think about it :d
Mario Kart - 1290-3970-6189
For anyone else, I use the images off wfbs manager, but when it downloads them they are 225 wide, so they wont work. I got the windows picture resizer tool, select over them all and convert to a custom resolution, I tried doing 160x224 but it kept making it 159x224
So I just made them 156x220 and it works perfectly, Easier way to mass convert them, rather then doing 1 at a time
trekster, can I add custom images using WBFS manager ?
LU70, 4.1U, cIOS38 rev14, USB Loader GX With 500GB WD Passport Essential (WBFS formatted)
Another successful testimony thanks to wiihacks.com guys.
Playing The Legend of Zelda since the "Golden Cartridge"
it just downloads the original ones only, When you open the program and load your drives contents you can hover over the installed isos and it shows you the normal cover image of the game.
It only gets them and saves on ur computer, I just then resized and copied over to my sd card.
I have updated the loader using update in the loader menu. But that doesn't correct inability to download anything. Do you think reloading would help. Very frustrating that a simple thing is so difficult.
Also a question for the directories on SD... do you make a different one for 3D covers, plain covers and disks? Then dependent on what folder you point to in the folder it loads the right cover?
Check out this site for box and disk art for the USBLoaderGX.
You will need to find out what dims the default sizes are for USB-GX as I forget them and am at work right now (possibly 160x224). Just set the size in the top box and then search out your games for their box art (flat and 3D) as well as disk art. It is all user submitted so newer games will have delays on their stuff (re: madden 10 recently). Save them all on your SD card under /images for the box art and /images/disc for the disc art (I think that's the correct default paths)
Hope that helps
with the newest update it's working as of this minute.... it's only missing metroid and madden 10 atm.
they're slacking on the disk images though
