Okay just trying to get some things clear as im a little confused on certain things, ive read stuff on this forum and online of course but i thought i would try and get some stuff cleared up
am i right in thinking that its best to update your wii console manually from the internet before trying to play a "backup" disk?
its best to use "backup" iso's from your region PAL or NTSC to try and avoid the brick blocking?
running brick blocker 1.3 will alter the ISO before you burn it thus removing the updates from the CD this you could run an NTSC version of the game on you PAL machine without worry (although running a native PAL disk would be more advisable)?
what exactly does a brick blocked wii behave like (complete failuire?) anyway to recover?
Basically whenever possible you want to run an ISO from your own region. First off you will not be able to play a PAL version of a game on an NTSC console unless it is patched to the other format. Then even within NTSC, there is USA and Japanese formats. You can run NTSC-J if you have a modded US console, but you want to make sure that you already have updated your console to the latest version so that it doesn't patch you with the patch from the other format.
What the brick blocker does is patch the ISO so that it doesn't run the update even if you don't have the update already.
