4.1E Wont Play Wii Sports Resort?

worked like a charm i have been searching for hour or more and read to manny forum post this worked perfect off usb after i fixed settings and ran wii motion vid and restarted loader thanks again for setting these peps straight
good job and ez fix
wii 4.1u w/all the good stuff uptodate as of this week 9-10-09

I have exactly the same settings as these, and all that happens is it loads back to the wii menu, anyone know what i can do?

just install cIOSCORP v.3.3 and you can just load it from the disk channel. If you see the update system in the disk channel, block it using startpatch4.1

uh...maybe you can help me out zomby22, since you seem to be able to launch WSR from the disc channel...

I'm using firm 4.1e; CIOS38 rev 14; CiosCorp 3.3, but everytime i try to launch Wii Sports Resort through the disc channel, i get the blue screen #002...

The game does work with NeoGamma R6, though... (i've done the altdol thing, and it has been working perfectly ever since)...

What am i missing here... ?

Do note that i can see the Wii Sports Resort logo on the disc channel - just that i cannot start it due to the #002 blue screen error.

UPDATE: I disabled the " IOS Reload (to 249) " option in preloader 0.29 and now Wii Sports Resort run directly from the Disc Channel

Firstly I do not use preloader, so not sure if preloader might have to do anything about it. Second, did you ever install IOS60 patcher and IOS61-64

I was extremely weary of updating via the disc channel for the wii sports resort, but after searching the forums I updated via the disc channel to see what would happen. My Wii is 4.1U cios38rev14 but in the process of trying to fix the -002 error for usbloader I may have downgraded which caused the wii sports disc to not work. After a very short update the disc now plays, my wii is still on 4.1U and I can play all my games from the usbloader. Hopefully this helps.
