    Mplayer and wii 4.0

I have a modded wii. It has the wiikey 2 and also the homebrew channel. I decided to install the mplayer so I could watchdvd movies. The installitation seemed to go fine but when I put a dvd move in and open mplayer and tell it to play the movie all it does is spin the disk and then stops. Has anyone seen this before? In not could you please point me to a good giude and I will try to install it again.

Here is a walk thru on Mplayer CE at Wiibrew, click here. Maybe it will help you. Here is on for DVDX too, click here for DVDX.
