I wish you could convince my parents of that. My Dad thinks I'm going to burn the house down with all that stuff plugged into one electrical outlet.

Wow that sounds like a good idea so you don't have to switch the wires.
I only have a few consoles:
    Ps2
    Ps1
    NES
    SNES
    Genesis

So it shouldn't be too many plugs and stuff. Where did you get the RCA switch boxes? I'd love to hook all of my stuff up to that after I fix my faulty wiring downstairs.

Haha. It couldn't be any worse that my outlet downstairs.
When I unplug something it sparks and then all the power downstairs goes out until i get the thing plugged in just right.

I used the RCA model VH920 source selector box. They can be purchased off of Ebay. On the Ebay main page type in RCA source selector and it will bring up all of the different models. I like the VH920 model because it has its own power plug which serves to boost the signal so you have minimal signal degredation on the line out side. Switch boxes that do not have this feature will result in decreased performance on the A/V lines because you have multiple inputs and only one output so it is best to stick with a model that has it's own power supply.

Lol my dad thinks that leaving a computer with its case off will burn down the house. Luckily he hasnt really paid attention in my room, I have 1 tv, 1 dvd player, 1 speaker system, 2 laptops, 1 clock,1 Wii,1 Xbox, home phone, fan, and several chargers all stemming from 2 outlets. I think someone was smart and gave my room its own circuit... At least i hope they did or else sooner or later im going to loose something lol

lol nice game room you just need a new TV

maybe in the future you can get a lcd/plasma hdtv and mount it on the wall then you can put next-next-gen consoles where your tv is at ;p
