Just wondering like i just started to play burned games on verbatim dvd-r's burned at 2x. People say the drive breaks and what not. Is it gonna break down really fast or whats a life span on these drives?
I had my first wii in Feb this year and the drive started getting noisey after a couple of months. I hung on untill bannerbomb came out so I wouldn't need the zelda hack and when I sent it back 3 weeks ago they sent me a brand new one to replace it. Unecconomical repair apparently!
I run all my games from usb now, I'm not taking the chance of the drive going again just as it goes out of warranty
