Im downloading from numerious sites .. mostly torrentzilla.com

Now i read the comments on the game pages and people are having success downloading and burning these backups for there wii.

Now my problem is that once i download a backup 100% and try to extract the rar files it says they are corrupt. I cannot get to the .iso file.

Its not just one backup .. but all my backups that I have downloaded from all different sites.

Any suggestions? I tried extracting with both winrar and 7 Zip ...

Some of the older versions of Winrar will fail uncompressing a newer builds rar file but you are having this issue with ALL rar files... There is a virus that infects the registry and prevents some compression utilities from working... If this is the case its a simple fix, try malwarebytes! and your fav. anti-mal/virus/spyware apps and see if it comes up. I had this in Oct. of last year, a random run of my tools found it... Other than that all I do to decompress the file is open the 1st rar file if its a set and click extract to then where I want it and it never fails... I really hope this helps...

I like to drop my torrents into the WBFS Manager (google), it extracts the files for you then you just need an external hard drive to store the games on, so much better than burning to disk! And you can play all your games using a USB loader for the Wii.

But if its a virus it will still affect WBFS since it uses the rar file format...

Well I did a few system scans .. got rid of some malware and whatnot..
I updated winrar to the newest version

I am still having the problem. In fact I put the rar files on my roommates comp to see if it was just my comp and they would not extract on his comp either.

I dont get it ... Others are having success ... =(

get utorrent and chose to have it put the .ut! on the incomplete files... Only thing i can think of is incomplete files... Some torrent programs create the file, but it may not have completed the download...

I don't know what is the right answer but I had the same problem as you trying to extract the files.
Also I had problems dl'ing w/ BitComet and Utorrent kept setting off my antivirus so I switched to BitTorrent and DL most of my torrents from isohunt. Have not had a problem since.
But as I said b4, I use the WBFS mngr 2 open my Iso's, also the program lets you extract the Iso to a folder in case something goes wrong.
I hope things work out 4 u!
