ok, i have a problem. i have wad manager 1.3 and i need to upgrade to 1.4. i can't seem to find out how. i've searched and searched. the best thing i've seen is that someone says i need to find the WAD file of thewad manager 1.3...put it in the wad folder of my SD card and then run it to upgrade it from 1.3 to 1.4.....
i can't find this wad file.

i've upgraded to the latest homebrew channel...and have installed it along with dvdx and some other thing...but still have no idea how to use it. it does nothing.

I found the wad manager 1.4 WAD file...

sigh,... i just put in the apps folder of my sd card... WAd installer 2.1 and wad uninstaller 1.1.

the wad file of wad manager 1.4 won't install..it's in a wad folder in the root director of the sd card..

says invalid wii application

im new to this forum stuff....prefer to keep my mouth shut and stay behind closed doors as this type of convo is what causes nintendo,sony..etc,etc to find ways in which to stop gamers from running any type of homebrew on there systems but i have been reading a lot of the responses and questions on certain forums....

but i would say if you are running homebrew DO-NOT update to 4.1

in fact do not update at all even if you have a mod chip until yu know for sure if you will be affected or not

I do not think anyone here at this site is going to update to 4.1 because it is for the Japan Wii only at this time. And I surely don't see anybody here speaking Japanese.LOL

But then again there are some peeps that do not know any better.
So if anybody that has 3.xU - 4.0U or 3.xE - 4.0E and tries to update to 4.1J,
Then they deserve what they get.. A bricked Wii..

Im guessing its best to overall avoid updating to the latest firmwares even with a hardmodded Wii? as if when encountering a problem its hard to downgrade/upgrade the system to unbrick it again?

Do not update, 4.1 gave my WAD MANAGER an error.
