I think what everybody here is talking about is moving or coping a CHANNEL to the sd card. Mistaking wads as channels.

So there for after you install a Vc/Wii Ware wad it becomes a channel on the main system.

So yes you can move a channel to the sd card if you have system version 4.0.
And of coarse not a wad...

    no.

if you install a CHANNEL with a WAD, you cannot move it to the sd. you have to buy the CHANNEL to move it to the sd. WADs are HACKED. HACKED WADs cannot be moved to sd.

There must be something wrong with your system, Because I do it all the time .

Here are some VC/Wii Ware wads that I have installed then moved them to the sdcard.

Yeah! The purpose of version 4.0 was so you can move your channels from the main system main to the SD card.
It's great to have a clean main system and alot of free main system memory blocks.

I'm not sure why peeps would want to downgrade to 3.2/3.4.
To me version 4.0 is the best upgrade ever for the Wii.

I have a chiped Wii with version 4.0 and never had a problem.

I really do not know if Version 4.0 is softmod friendly or not,Maybe that is why one would not have system version 4.0.

PLEASE NOTE IF ANYONE WANTS TO UPGRADE TO VERSION 4.0..
DO NOT UPGRADE USING THE Wii SYSTEM.
    USE WANINOKO'S SYSTEM UPGRADE!!!!!!!
