    i beleive gecko needs a mod chip.. I would go hdd.. its this best option all around in my opinion.

    yes yes, but it's not an option right now, cos she prefer disks, (though I did setup wiiflow/usbloader just in case she changes her mind)

    so, not assuming,
    original NTSC games will not work on neogamma?
    I just need a yes or no )

    Nope. Gecko OS. I don't use it though because I haven't really needed to or found a use for it.

    You can boot original discs with it too. Not just backups.

    Thanks for confirming that, I thought geckoos was a backup loader until I read the wiki properly, plus, it was the original disks I was really concerned about, cos backups will never work on the d3-2 drive on this black wii.

    so I'll have to force it pal? yes?

    Thanks for all the help, I convinced her that USB loading is the way to go, that way, all her games, including her old pal games and newly bought ntsc games will load on hdd
