wii sys update, I've been gone awhile

when I first installed my wiikeyII it was said no to update just install the ios files.. I know 3.2 was what you wanted to have. I haven't been on the boards in a few months.. I don't do anything buy play backup, I don't mess with wads or any HB.. I've been using the guide I posted to over come the 002 error and avoid updating..
If I'm ONLY using this to play backups is there ANY reason I should do the update?

Like I said I haven't been around in awhile so I don't know if things have changed or not.. Is 3.2 still the way to go?

aloha lucky54, 3.2 versions are still the way to go but that's more for those who use wads and HB. If you don't want either, then updating will not hurt you. The 3.2 is the way to go if you want the best of both worlds and the option to use wads/virtual console and the like. If you are still unsure, you can always add homebrew before you update if you wanna have that option in the future. If you want the sd memory increase for 4.0 then you can upgrade. I know in the near future more and more of us that either softmod or hardmod will eventually have to upgrade but that will take time.
It's all up to you. Goodluck... let us know what you do.
