    Wii has no video.

I was trying to update system menu on my Wii thorugh some wad, when it asked for restart after installation I did that, and what I find is that after restart Wii does not output any video signal to the TV,The Power button on Wii is on with green light and dvd seems to be rotating but TV shows "No Signal Found",I found out at various places on internet as to this may be a bricked wii scenario.

I got it chcked from a techinican and he suggested its not a hardware problaem and some sofwatre issue.

Can anyone tell me the steps to revover from this.

    Help is much appreciated.

Just to add My wii is modded .

    Thanks
    Rohit.

I'm having the EXACT same issue. Is there any way to repair it without sending it to Nintendo because I don't think they repar or replace modded wii's. Any help would be appreciated. I want to explore all avenues before i fork out the cash for another wii

If you've got no Video then it's more than likely bricked.

There aren't many ways to recover the software from a full brick situation. The only three I know of are firstly bootmii and secondly preloader, both of which need to be installed before it get's bricked, and finally the savemiifrii trick.

I think maybe my issues are more than just a bricked wii.
I have tried relentlessly to get the savemiifrii (GC contrlloer) screen to come on but no matter what I do the TV just shows "Unusable signal". If there is no other fix than I will keep plugging away at it until I have the money to buy a new one.

Well to be honest what you have doesn't sound like a banner brick, it sounds a lot more bricky than that.

ya me thinks its beyond being bricked. at least a brick serves a purpose. My wii is useless in this state. Thanks for all your help guys. If anyone does perhaps have a miracle fix then by all means throw it my way if you don't mind....until then, I will be saving up for a new Wii
