System Menu 4 SD Card Menu does not see Wad files

Now that I have System Menu 4.0u installed, I can't get the new SD Card Menu to see the Wad files on the SD card. Do the wad files have to be in a specific file structure? I copied them to the SD card from my hard drive to the root folder.

You need to put them in a folder titled wad. That folder is in your root menu.

Then, you need to install the WADs via Wad Manager. Then, use the SD card menu to transfer them over to your SD again.

you will have to load wads off of a 2 gig sd, there is no wad manager yet that works on the sdhc cards

also you must have the available memory on your wii system to run the games of the SD card.

I am having a similar issue. I install the wad files using wad manager, then if I choose to move them to my SD card in data management on the wii system menu (4.0u), when I try to launch them from the SD I get a generic "Failed to load" error. I have enough space on my system memory, and all my VC titles downloaded from the wii shop channel launch from the SD card correctly.

so it is only with manually installed WAD files for me.

that is BS, I am now having that problem after recovering from a 4.2 update, but have been running wads from my 8 gig sdhc card for over a year, don't slam noobs, they are learning, and try not to show your ignorance with inaccurate information
