If you're dumb enough to ask the question, you have NTSC.

dude for someone's first post, why did you have to answer so harshly. The dude just asked a simple question in a non rude manor.
Come to the Irc room to get help or just have fun

Motivation alone is not enough. If you have an idiot and you motivate him, now you have a motivated idiot.

Is this still relevant? I play a lot of my (entirely legally purchased of course) game backups using USB loader and Neogamma. I pay little attention to whether the games are PAL or NTSC (Having purchased them in Australia, America and Asia), whether my TV is PAL or NTSC (I live in Vietnam), or the fact that my Japanese Wii is using USA firmware. I have never run in to any problems relating to NTSC/PAL and I'm pretty sure I've played both on the Wii without having to do anything extra (currently playing a PAL game). Do I have a super Wii or is it the case that Wiis running Neogamma can accept either format, and it only depends on your TV's output?

Sorry what I mean to ask is whether it is still important to check whether something is PAL or NTSC. I seem to be able to throw anything and everything at the Wii and it plays it fine. I don't notice any ghosting or loss in image integrity associated with Pal>Ntsc conversion or vice versa. What I'm asking is whether I should care at all whether a game is Pal or ntsc when I buy it, or if things are now such that it doesn't make any difference. From what I've read, conversions between formats can result in significant quality loss, but I have never experienced that (to my knowledge). I stumbled upon this thread, and it makes me ask the question of whether I should actually be paying attention to the format of the games I buy.
Hope this clarifies where I'm coming from.

Since neogamma is mutli regional if you are playing backups of you originals, then no.. but you should stick to games from your region otherwise..
