Lol, I start researching as soon as they hook me, for an alternate place to purchase, whatever it is they have I currently like, because I know it won't last.
Right now it is their spa products. I have found that brand very cheap and my water levels always on point. However I am prepared to go to ace hardware, when they discontinue it lol.

Or the red-labeled "Sink and Sweep" stuff for the pool. Bought a container of that and went through it in order to open the pool. But now EVERYBODY'S out (so that doesn't save me, lmao!)

so avoid any verbatim discs with life on the packaging. any other pointers i should know about besides looking for azo discs if available?

... HUH! well i found a stash of HP lightscribe discs (bout 5 total). burnt a game at 4x (lowest it would go) and what do you know, thing loaded up after i set the vid mode to NTSC 480i and cIOS to default. with default settings, i got a 'no drive connected?' error in neogamma...

    strange wii!

Amazon seems to come through for me in a pinch, if you don't mind waiting a few days. They seem to have their hands in all the pies, so to speak.

@black those will indeed work. Nightstah's suggestion has to do with longevity and dependability.

Also last I knew ( it's been a while since I cared about disk loading) other loaders that are commonly used for USB loading, can in fact load disk, and make better use of Cios options. Last I tried anyway lol.

UGH man the load times, even on NSMB.. crikey. i hope mario kart isnt this bad. will check out other loaders but looks like usbloader gx supports dvd loading

    -edit-

yep, in channel mode, just clicked on the DVD icon and it worked. had to do it twice, pretty sure it had to do with the disc quality seeing as they are a few years old.

NeoGamma will probably work if you point it to a different cIOS. You need an app called NeoGamma IOS switcher, i still use it for my GameCube backups.

Configurable USB loader can load from disc, just press the - button instead of the + button to rip. It can rip and load from USB or SD, it will even rip backups.

usbloader gx (most recent version, i always update it) works fine, dont need to switch IOS or anything. only had to do that with neogamma (now deleted ).

@black: those HP lightscribes? CMC MAG junk. May literally work today and not tomorrow. On load times: the exploit that allows for backups to run locks the drive @ 3X (rather than 6x as traditional with retail discs on the Wii).
