Don't, buy official ones. I have tried a whole host of these and they do not stand up in quality imo

Hey, thanks for the quick answer. The problem is that the official one costs 27 pounds and the one i found only 5.
I know it will be inferior to the official one, but does it justify the difference in price?
I recenty won, yeah i know lucky a 42 bravia tv and it looks absolutely awfull regarding playing wii, compared to my old 29 crt tv.

Every 10 second or so the screen would blank out black for a split second, thus happened with 5 different ones so I've eventually bought the official ones and haven't looked back

I have 3rd party cables and have never had a single issue in 5 plus years. I guess their may be some bad ones but I have never had issues with cables and always go for cheaper alternatives. Controllers are the opposite in my experience.

As long as you treat them very gently, cheap cables are usually alright. Some third party cables can be more rugged than Nintendo's even.

These are the ones that I use (from USA Amazon) http://url.llaffer.com/component

I bought them over two years ago and still work fine.

I found these on the UK amazon. first match using "wii component cables" as search criteria. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Unknowm-6900...mponent+cables

You know what, my cables do occasionally do a black screen for 1 second fail. I thought this was my tv but I had it fixed recently and it just happened again yesterday. Weird, I would think if the cables were failing just one would go out and the color would be off but it goes black and the audio is still fine.
