Do you have an SD card in your system?

If it's locking up on disk, then it has nothing to do with the mod. It could be that your system IOS's aren't current. Post a syscheck so we can look. A link to directions on how to do so are in my signature.

Make sure all devices are disconnected from the wii.

Your system is a very old mod with some IOS's patched that shouldn't be.

Go through Chapter 2 of the Softmod Any Wii guide (link in my signature) and install ModPack.zip and IOS Update.zip (yes, I know it says optional for 4.3's, but yours seems to be messed up and need fixing, so that should do it).

Your soft mod is outdated and is using the wrong ios to load HBC, do the below.

Go through the "Soft Mod Any Wii Guide".(Link is at the bottom of my Signature.)
Start from "Soft Mod With Homebrew Channel Installed" and follow it all the way through.
This will over write everything , with out the need of deleting anything.
Please read the Guide a few times before proceeding.
