Normally having nothing but bubbles on screen means there is simply no data being loaded from a FAT32 partition (the apps holder portion of the harddrive). Here's what you need to do to get you started:

    1. Hit 1 on your wii remote, I believe, this SHOULD open a menu to which points to load from: USB or SD Card etc.
    2. If you find a device that holds your apps, then no need to continue. Otherwise:
    3. Download this set of files: LINK!
    4. Extract these to the proper location.
    5. (If you only have a harddrive, make sure it's in FAT32, or format it to FAT32, cluster size32kb and put these in a folder called "apps")
    6. (If you have an SD Card, put these in a folder called "apps", make sure it's formatted to FAT32, cluster size 32kb)
    7. See if these files will attempt to run.
    8. IF THEY DO NOT Follow the next steps.
    9. Continue from this portion of the guide:

    Guide-Rip

Continue from here thoughout the wii. This will update all of your IOS's. Afterwards you will be able to download the modpack.zip file, and make sure the apps will run correctly.

    IF THEY DO

Then check for the latest versions of the loaders available here:
    - Later USB Loader GX v3.0 (r1180): LINK!
    - LatEST USB Loader GX v3.0 (r1200): LINK!
    - Latest WiiFlow (r239): LINK!
    - Latest CFG Loader (r45): LINK!

Hope this helps get you going!

I am having a problem with installing LatEST USB Loader GX v3.0 (r1200).
I downloaded it from that link but it has
    3 subfolders.
How do I install this version - put it in the apps folder?
AND should i remove a version that is installed now?

    Thanks

    Installation Instructions:
    1) Extract files
    2) Move to the current SD Card folder SD:\apps\USBLoader_GX\
    3) Delete the folder USBLoader_GX or however it/they are named.
    4) Move to the main directory in the SD Card.
    5) Delete ANY folder relating NEAR to USBLoader/USBLoader_GX/etc.
    - (This is a cache file folder, it's fine to delete)
    6) Go to where you extracted your new file
    7) Move the /apps/ folder to the SD Card main file directory, overwrite if it prompts you to.
    - (This will NOT overwrite the apps folder and replace ALL of it with THIS, it will ADD it into the files already there)
    8) Move to the main directory again
    9) Copy the folder of your extracted files /wad/ to the main directory
    - (Again this will not erase everything if it prompts you, it will ADD it to the files there)
    10) Eject your SD Card
    11) Get to your wii, insert it
    12) Go to your Homebrew Channel
    13) Optional: if you want a forwarder (Channel-linker) or Channel (Full Program installed on the home screen) install either ONE of the wads via one of your favorite/most functional Wad Manager (e.g. MMM{Multimodmanager} etc)
    14) Otherwise simply load your USB Loader GX
    15) Happy trails
