    Wii Internet

A few years ago (let's say about 2 years) i bought a wii. I accidentally updated it (twice ): ). The person who modded it says that i can't use the internet anymore, but i wanted to use it (you know for super smash bros. brawl and mario kart). I can't use the internet, one, because i literally can't (but i know how), second because he said that if I enabled it, it will be updated and can't be modified anymore. Is this true? Should i enable it?

Yey! Thanks! But really, you wouldn't be able to mod it again?

Yeh, it's a load of silly crap. You can mod your wii in just about any state, as long as it boots. Just become a modder yourself, like Pob3008 said, if you setup Priiloader, like the Hack any Wii manual, you will be fine. You will enjoy your Wifi worry free after you follow the manual and I would say, remod your Wii.

Oh, you might NOT want to run Homebrew apps updates though, for example WiiMC will try to update instead when your attached to Wifi, and that can unfortunately create issues. Homebrew might want to update itself, you don't nessisarily need to do that. Etc.. and I would just train yourself that when you connect via Wifi on your Wii and it asks to update its Nintendo software, just say No.

The emulator games are great too

    Welcome to the group...
