help with usb microphone and games on usb harddrive.

i have a couple wii karaoke games i downloaded, and installed on my external hard drive. every time i try to play them it says there is no mic plugged in. It works fine with my guitar hero game which i have the cd for. i am trying to play karaoke revolutioin and KR : american idol encore 2. The microphone i have is the wired mic which came with rockband 1. since both the harddrive and the mic are trying to use the usb at the same time maybee that is the problem. has anyone else ran into this problem?

If you have downloaded wii games you need to follow this guide. I'm sure you will find all necessary information how to fix mic.
