Hi all, I recently tried updating my wii so it could play off a NTFS formatted hard drive, I believe that i did everything right, but clearly i did not. Everything works until I try to play the game, when i select a game, the screen goes black, console freezes, and the controller turns off. I cannot figure out what the problem is. I am kind of new to this stuff, any help is greatly appreciated.

cburns03, Hi Dude i'm sure you have found and read the tutorial. You have got your apps on the root of your drive. And channels on your wii set to find NTFS drive. You may have to read a little more before you understand what's going on.

I have indeed seen that tutorial before, that's actually the one I tried following. I have the apps on the root of my sd card and I'm not sure about the channel part, how do I check that? I have been searching for a while now on what to do but I can't seem to find any help. The only thing i could think of was that maybe i didn't have cios installed, but i thought i did. Is there any way i could check if it was installed, or how do i install it. and could that possibly be the solution?

That is my system check and no i did not use the softmod any wii guide i followed a different one i found over 2 years ago. Thank you very much for the help so far! (Thanks for the links too, kind of a noob)
You need to follow the softmod any wii guide and start from the spoiler that says "softmods with homebrew channel installed"
