    usb loader parental controlls

I have a customer that owns a family fun center. I modded his Wii with usb laoder gx,(usbing a forwarded channel, and homebrew)

the issue he is having every once and awhile some kid deletes the usb loader app in homebrew

i set up parental control on usb loader gx, but that doesn't really help anything, i also am was trying to set priilaoder to auto boot to usb loader gx as a form of parental controller, as it was recommended in the tutorial on here, so it would bypass the wii menu (so kids wouldn't have access to it, to go into homebrew) and the wii would be stuck in usb loader gx BUT usb loader gx allow u to just click on the wii button and u can leave it and go into the wii menu where shit hits the fan

so my question is does anyone have a solution so that kids would either be stuck in usb loader gx or some way to not access homebrew, iv also though of just installing usb channel BUT then the kids could just go in wii setting and delete the channel.

    any idea would be appreciated

also another question regarding auto boot in prii loader i set auto boot: to installed file, and retun to :is set to wii menu( there wasnt an installed file option). Now when i go to install a file i install the usb laoder file, it completes, (still in install file option)"but when i go to load a file (the option where u hit 1 to load a installed file instead of A install a file) is say binaray error, i turn off the wii because i installed the file and chnage auto boot but when i boot up the wii its doesn't work???

can u not auto boot a forwarder channel or something ?

Switch to Configurable USB loader. Set simple mode to 1 and set a password.

You CAN autoboot to a forwarder. But u need to have the actual boot.dol in the appropriate folder either on SD or USB. Get a config usb forwarder, load it. Set your autoboot and return to to installed file. Done.

I'm working on a parental controls guide as time allows, which will cover all of this and then some. Not quite ready yet.

WiiFlow can also do this. Simply go into the settings and (1) disable the "exit to" setting (I think that's the name) and (2) set up a parental password and lock the stuff tha you don't want the little munchkins to have access to (i.e. settings, channels, etc.).

Set "Return to" to "autoboot." Note that that won't stop people from getting to the System Menu. They can always reset the Wii (either using the Reset button on the console or via the Home button -> Reset -> Yes on the remote).

Awesome! Maybe that will help me control my parents when they use my Wii.

Check the settings. If you can't find it in there, you can edit the config files directly.

Then you'll probably have to manually set it by editing the configuration files that are stored on the SD card. It should be as simple as looking for a line that says something like "Simple Mode=#" and changing the number to 1.

i set the auto boot to : installed file

but retun to: there is no installed file option??
