Problems Soft modding with LetterbombvPress 1 screen can't press 1 with old wiimote?

Iv read all the instructions carefully or atleast I think I did, Im still kind of new at this. I have an older wii with 4.3u and I'm using a 8gb SD card formatted to fat 32(since its a 8gb it wont let me format to fat 16). It works up until I get to the warning and it tells me to press 1. I have the older wii-mote with the red sync button under the battery cover, Iv tried restarting the wii and re-syncing the remote by pressing the red sync button by the sd and then pressing the red sync button on the control but it still just wont let me press 1 once it tells me too. Any ideas?

    That's 2 fails here.
#1 posting a question about the guide somewhere other than in the guide thread.
#2 not reading "all of the instructions carefully"

Use a standard SD-Card, 1-2g (SanDisk is good)
