Well i just registered and i whas looking for an answer for this question:

Is it possible to play gamecube backup games on the new wii's i bought mine in 2011 and its white and ive looked up the drive already its one of the new ones is it possible in any way without hardmodding it or via SD/Usb/External drive ?

I dont need any advice; "Try this..." "Try that..."

OK iv'e got 4.3e wii that i updated to..... now once you have homebrew (via letterbomb is the best) you search this on YouTube or Google:
"how to play game cube back ups on wii" you follow one of those tutorials (which ever one suits you the best) then burn the GC games follow the guide
(obviously you need a game cube controller to install and play) then download all the files in description put them in your SD card. open up Mios
(or whatever it is but its something like that) then make sure it installs on Ios 249 press a on your game cube controller let it install take about 40 seconds to 1 min then insert your burned disk in your wii. go to homebrew select and load Game Cube Backup Launcher once it loads it has couple of options on pressing buttons. What ever region your game is or if you dont know it says what ever button to press on your Game Cube controller then your game or games should work.

I guess you failed to see that tho OP has a wii that CANNOT read burned discs.
