Wiimote doesn't work (not a wiimotion Plus)

K well to be short and simple, it works normally but once i get into the softmod apps/hacked apps such as HBC, it shuts off. Its a white remote, not motion plus. However it is a new wii, 4.3u black nonbackwards compatible.

Are you sure it's not one with the wiimotion plus built in? I thought all the new gamecube less wiis came with those.

There is a thread here with how you can identify if you have one that people have been having trouble with.

I meant the wii was the nonbackwards compatible thing lol, its the new one without the gamecube ports. Its the remote thats messing up, its an old version and i cross checked it with the link and the list within it, not on there.

I see now. I kinda figured that out after reading your last post and after my last post. LOL.

You can clear all previous synced Wii remotes with your console and reconnect the ones you are using. Power off the console and unplug the power cord for a few seconds. Plug the power cord back in and turn the Wii back on. At the "Health and Safety" screen, open the small door on the faceplate of the console. Hold the red sync button for at least 15 seconds. All previous syncs have been removed from your console at this point. This process does not need to be repeated to re-sync each remote.

Take the first Wii remote you wish to sync and remove the door to the battery compartment. Press and release the red sync button near the batteries. Quickly press and release the red sync button on the console. The lights on the remote will flash and then illuminate the light that corresponds to that remote's position (1, 2, 3, or 4). Repeat this process for each Wii remote in any desired order.
You can try that and see if it helps.

New batteries? Try and sync in the system menu, press home, on the bottom press reconnect remotes, then hold 1 and 2.

Or yeah get a refund, because that controller should work fine.
