Formatted Wii (previously hacked) won't accept update or Letterbomb
My Wii was hacked before - I don't know what specific software was used, wasn't the one who did it. The person took the SD card out and with them and all the files, leaving me with a halfway modded Wii. Homebrew wouldn't load so I formatted the Wii (from system settings) and loaded Letterbomb onto my SDHC card (Kingston 4GB). Found the Letterbomb in my mail but the system froze when I tried to load it, did some reading and found out it was because I needed to update to 4.3 (currently running 4.2).
However, when I try to update, I get error 32004 - Nintendo's website says that means either the internet connection is unstable (I unplugged my modem/router and let them sit, and plugged them in again, didn't work) or that unofficial software has been run and they have no solution.
Is my Wii now bricked? (Sounds like a bad thing, from what I've heard). Am I SOL?
