Ca Full Brick Help (If even possible)

Hi guys. My friend has brought me a black wii that he tried to downgrade the system menu. It looks like a full brick, but I'm looking for any suggestions here. I've modded over 100 Wii's myselft and unbricked about 10. This is the first one I can't even get anywhere with. Here's the situation:

    - Priiloader does not load
    - Black screen when powered up
    - I tried the savemiifrii with a gamecube controller in port 4, but no system menu version comes up (I know I'm doing it properly as I've done this before with success)

Remember this is a black Wii so boot DVD's are not an option (unless this has changed)

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!
