Wii Won't Receive Letter from Letterbomb

The other night I installed the homebrew channel using letterbomb, it went perfectly and I had no issues. Today however, my brother for some stupid reason decided to format the wii system memory.

I am trying to get the homebrew channel back, but when I insert the SD card into the Wii, I never receive that envelope. It's not in the today page, or yesterday's, 2 days ago, or even a month in either direction. I posted a memo to see if that would help like the guide on about.com says but it doesn't.

I'm sure I'm just doing something wrong, but I'm doing everything the same as last time.

    Please help

Are you using the same letterbomb that you used the first time? I think you need to get a new one, and make sure the date/time is set correctly.

No I'm not, I went to the site to redownload it, however the MAC Address did not change after formatting.

Did you follow the guide on this site to mod your wii? If so, you may not be on SM 4.3 anymore and letterbomb wont work. Check your SM.

    btw...mac addy should not change.

I followed the guide on About.com: external links are not allowed

It still says ver 4.3u on Wii System Settings.

Maybe try the guide on this site so we can support it. If you have a problem getting letterbomb from the link in our softmod any wii guide, we could go from there. Also make sure it is a 2gb or less sd not sdhc card formatted with the quick format button unchecked.

The guide I used and the guide on this site tell me to do the same thing.

It's an SDHC card, 8GB. It worked perfectly last time, there's no reason it shouldn't work now.

In the guide I'm getting stuck at the part where I turn on the Wii, go to the mail and click the letterbomb. The letter is not there, on any date.

I guarantee that is your problem. There is a reason a sandisc 2gb or less sd NOT SDHC card is recommended. You should try a different sd card.

Sdhc cards usually do not work. Try another card.
