    H0w do I play PAL games on my NSTC Wii

    Ok, so the keywords "pal" and "on" are too short to search for, but I did try a search before this post!!!

    I have the Twilight hack, with starfall....maybe starfall is not working or something because I have the option selected that says "Region Free Wii Games"

    and when I put in a PAL game it is black and white and the screen constantly scrolls vertically.

    Your help is greatly appreciated...........thanks to all in advance!!!!

    There are a lot of games that I am finding in only PAL version, so I need to get this fixed ASAP!!!

    -,_-, not very hard =P

    for starfall you must have 3.2

    you need to force settings in gecko OS, its a tv/game issue, not a 100% anything

    Ok I changed a setting that said "force Pal 60" and that got rid of the vertical scroll, but it is still in Black and White

    wii > settings > top right
    E = pal
    U = ntsc/U

    and its 100% based off game, region, tv

    I tried force ntsc and it works.
    I just have a question.
    Is there any way to leave that setting as default so I don't have to do it everytime I need to play a PAL game?
    Thanks.

    I don't believe so but you can patch/convert the game to NTSC before you burn it so you don't need to force NTSC. Look for regionFrii . I thought there was a link to it somwhere in here but not sure where it's at.

    I tried to patch a couple of games with Region Free and WIU1.1 and it shows the games are patched from PAL to NTSC, but when I insert the games in the Gamma loader, I must use the force ntsc option. Otherwhise, it doesn't work.
    Any suggestions will be appreciated.
    Thanks.
