i recently got brave and decided to try and update to "d2x cIOS v7 Installer v3.1" since a lot of the newer games dont work for me anymore. i followed the quide on this site to the T , and i thought it went well until i tryed to load usb loader and i get nothing for 10 seconds, just black followed by a stack dump screen then i says reloading in 5 seconds a just freezes.
what did i do to it, and is there anyway to undo, or would i need the original wad files that i no doubt overwrote.
Make sure you are using the latest version of the loader. If that doesn't work post a system check.

Tried to load from hbc just to see. got a message "usb loader needs unstubed 222 v4 or 249 v9 ,

That means your cIOS is stubbed. I don't know what guide you followed to a T. but it wouldn't have installed stubbed cIOS. Follow the softmod any wii guide. There is a link in the spoiler below.
Yeah i followed it but im not saying there want a pre required step or something that i missed. :(

Last question, is wii flow better than the us loader gx?
i would like to do the d2x cIOS Installation, is this going to mess something up?, i really want to play driver for more than five min. but this is how i broke it the first time. Acording to the driver guide on here i have to update the cios for it to work, im allready useing the usb loader gx
If you followed the ANY Wii guide you already have d2x. Driver would only freeze at the end of a level, not every five minutes. Your problem lies elsewhere. Try re-ripping your disc and make sure your HDD is not going into sleep mode.
