Hey there, I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to play an ISO from an sd card without converting the file system to WBFS. I have an FAT32 sd card with some trimmed ISOs ready to go and I just want to know if there is any homebrew app that can load an ISO from FAT32. Anyone know of such an app? Or am I just stuck with having to format the card to WBFS?

WBFS is so, like 2-3 years ago. You can use either FAT32, or also NTFS, which I recommend. Then, i'm not sure 100% on what loader you can use but I know you can use GX, or CFG Loader, probably any which one you prefer. Just don't do WBFS, as it just confuses and makes things inconvenient for PC.Quote:

Hmm. Well that defnitely helps, format wise. But I have CFG and that doesn't seem to help much. When I used the softmod any wii guide it came with it and when I choose the channel it just resets the system menu. And I've also tried using GX by installing the channel but whenever I started it, it searched for a USB HDD and couldn't find one of course because I wasn't using one, so I'm not sure how to load an iso from my sd card with it. I've also tried waninko's SD/USB Loader with a WBFS format but I would just get a (ret = -1) error. And I've also tried neogamma with the same format and I got a storage read1 error. Any other thoughts, anyone? I've been pulling my hair out on this one for a while. Haha. (Also, I'm using an 8gig SanDisk SDHC card with a 4.2 system menu, if that helps.) Thanks.
Bakere did you ever figure this out. I also used the hack any wii guide with letterbomb and 4.3 I am trying to load my ISO from SD card also because I currently dont have a HDD. I get the same error with neogamma, the storage read1 error message.
What directory are the ISO supposed to go in on the SD card, they are in folder that wiibackupmanager created on the root of the card, is this correct?
Using wii backup manager, set it to keep the game partition only, and it will put the completed .wbfs file in the WBFS directory on the SD card.
Still getting the same storage read1 error, I think I am just going to grab a 16 gb stick that is compatable for 15 bucks tomorrow and see if I can get that working.Quote:
