    Homebrew channel not seeing hard drive contents

    My homebrew channel and homebrew browser aren't seeing my hard drive contents. i ran into this before, but i cannot recall the remedy. Anyone have any ideas?

    Are you trying to load apps off it?

    i have gone into HBC and clicked "1" set the apps to load from the USB device, but no luck.

    Hi gooup, Did you check your plugged into the correct USB port. Is the cable good and plugged in fully. How is your hard drive setup, if you are Fat32 then your HBC looks for SD first Then if no SD it looks for USB then if your HDD is setup properly it will open. your Apps folder.

    HBC does see the SD card, but when i remove it, it fails to see the hard drive ... it just stays blank.

    Try starting HBC without the SD card, Wii should skip the SD search and open apps on hard drive,I only mod with SD cards then I remove them and run everything from Hdd

    If you press 1 from within the HBC, you can set where it loads from, sd or usb

    But you already know that as you wrote a few posts up...lol Apps must be on the fat32 drive in the path USB/apps/ and the drive needs to be set as primary and active.

    Just checked the drive in Disk Manager and it is set to primary and active, but it's still not working.
