I just bought a Black motion plus remote and it doesn't work.
I was wondering if there might be some kind of chip or something on the pcb we could take off. If anyone has a motion plus remote that work would take a few pics of there pcb. just an Idea you never know it could be just a simply cap or resistor to remove to fix the problem. I doubt it but hey no point in no looking.

Mine ends with M0 and works fine on old boot2 wii. I think you already have that figured out but thought I would add it anyhow.
Can't believe so many threads,,, Shmokes rocks!!
I read about 30 threads and was just getting ready to return my new remotes for older used ones... Then stumbled across this.. Since I do have older remotes as well this works like a charm..

FYI: I just picked up a new black one at my local Best Buy. It was a LMA-RVL-WR/M C2 which of course works so there are still old stock out there.
Ok, some news on this problem... the routine not working is the one used to read the wiimote in libogc, the development library which is part of devkitPro, which in turn is used by every homebrew app around. I reported the bug and my post was approved, so at least the bug is now in the devkitPro to-do list. After libogc gets fixed we will still have to wait for an update (recompile) of every homebrew app we use... so this will take a while...
Do you have a url link for this?
