Does anyone have any ideas on how to get past the black scam screen with the info I have provided so I can upgrade the hackmii and hbc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look here--->HackMii Fix Black Screen / Scam Freeze to see if this pertains to your situation.

This looks like it may work however, I'm reading Mauifrog's tutorial and in the directions it states to delete Ios 58. I have always read not to delete ANY IOS UNDER 200 or face bricking your wii!!! Should I really delete IOS 58 as it describes? Any Ideas? Has any one else done this without damaging the wii? Thanks

You will be fine. Mauifrog is about as good a Wii guide as you could hope to have. IOS58 is not required to start your wii, it's simply used by some titles.

Jax, thanks for the link. I downloaded the fix and proceeded to number two. I don't know what is patched so I ran a system check and now I have another problem. During the system check a red X came out on the screen and said "failed to get the stored TMD size for ios 58" and the system check freezes. I went out and downloaded two other system checks 2.0 and 2.1.0. Both times I ran the system check it would be going through IOS vulnerabilities and freeze on IOS 35. I can't seem to do a system check. I don't know what to do. This is so wild! Everything works great and all my games work fine! I have no problems except I can't get the Hackmii v0.8 to go past the scam screen without freezing so I can update the HBC channel to 1.0.8. I am all eyes and ears waiting for someone to help me make sense of this anomaly. Thanks

Jax, I did as you said and put it in the thread where you got the fix link from. After doing that I see it went into the recommended, FAQ's, guides & tutorials. In small print it states anyone posting here without Mod permission will be banned!!!!!! Does this mean I will be banned at some point for asking for help???? Was that the correct thread?

LOL, I had to figure out where the heck you saw that. That statement is a warning for people who make guides and post them in there without staff approval. You posted in the correct place, no worries.
