Sorry didn't think I was hijacking a thread...especially considering I'm having the same black screen problems. Also, wiihacks forums are completely cluttered with similar threads that I didn't want to start yet another "black screen" one.

Did you try to update your old Mod with the Soft Mod Any Wii Guide, Seeing how you stated it was done Two years ago.

Could need to be updated.Start from..Softmods with HOMEBREW CHANNEL installed.

Follow it through to the end. Please read everything a couple of times,Then proceed.

Yes I did update my softmod, and I'm still getting the same result. I did manage to get Driver working by using an older version of USB loader GX. But some of my other games still wouldn't work. New Super Mario Bros would freeze on the "hold the controller sideways" screen. I deleted it, popped in the disc, and re-ripped it. Voiola!, it works now. So I'm guessing my files got corrupted.

Before I start going through the painstaking process of reformatting the HDD, finding all of my games, and ripping them again...do you have any other suggestions I could try to confirm that the files are corrupt? Is there perhaps a program that could verify the data on the extracted iso's?

WiiBackup Manager can check the files.
